since i got many comments about my nails in my last food post, here's a closer look!
i got them done at a salon and it cost me about 10000JPY (90USD).
it's a "bio gel" manicure applied on my natural nails :)

saturday, "festival brasil" @ yoyogi park with my colleagues.
there were food stalls (basically lot of beef on skewer, guarana and brazilian beer), live performances by some famous brazilian bands and tv star. lot of brazilians and nikkei people, lot of skin exposure *lol* i'd never been around so many portuguese speaking people! it almost felt like i was in brazil :D

we had a birthday dinner (or should i say "pig-out?") at FRYDAY'S after work! you can't imagine how guilty i am feeling right now for all the calories i ate today.. so much carbs and fried food! :p i'm still stuffed! マジなんか産まれそう。ｗ

bio gel is awesome! it's so shiny, doesn't chip for 1 month, and can be removed without hurting your nails :) it's set under a UV lamp so it's perfectly dry when you leave the salon! you can open the wallet without worrying about messing up your manicure ;) this is what my nails looked like last month! it's not how i exactly wanted it. the salon didn't have black gel and they had to use black glitter for the french part so they didn't turn out as black as i wanted them to be.. but oh well. it's not that bad.

my mom and i are rooting for jordin sparks! she can sing and isn't her smile just gorgeous?! we don't get to watch the show live as it airs several weeks later on fox japan but i came across the result while browsing news on google :p i was shocked to find out that melinda got voted off cuz i thought she was going to win this season!!

(these are made with japanese 1000yen bills! noguchi (noguchi hideyo), is a prominent japanese bacteriologist who discovered the agent of syphilis disease in 1911.)
